Time for some new boots. The ariats are wearing out, seperating at the sole. I only got 2 years out of these so I'm looking for something that holds up better. What's out there in a pull on? I wouldn't mind a custom pair that are fit to my feet but I can't remember the name of them. Danner, Russell? Someone recommended them. Once I get the replacements, I'll send these in to be resoled.

I have had the best luck with Ariat. Tried many different brands. Most made it less than 1 year. I can get just about 2 out of the Ariats.

Last 2 pairs of Ariats checked out early on me. I'm wearing double h at the moment, and they seem better made than Ariat. We'll see.

I wear nothing but Harley boots. Get them at K&T shoes in Savannah Tennessee. Got a pair of conductor boots with zippers up the sides that are about a year old and I might get another 4-6 months out of them. Prices are typically $59.99-69.99 a pair for various styles.

I wear square toe double H, made in the US and last longer than anything else I've tried, and I've worn ariats, Justin's, Georgia's, red wings and a couple others. Been wearing double h for 3 years now and I can get 8 to 10 months out of them. Any of the others were 3 to 6 months at the best. And in my opinion 200$ boots need to last longer than 3 months.

Rocky makes a pair that is comparable I replaced my Ariats with & so far been great. Got about a year on them. I am typically an 8-12 month is tops guy. Have always had good luck with Rockys but Double h is supposed to be good too just can't find them here. I am with Denver tho for $200 they ought to last at least a year or 2.

I have Justin's to they are lace up logger boots with the higher heal on them that I have to wear for work but I wear them all the time get about two years out of them.

I can't expect 2 years, 1 year is very long and almost never happens. The 3 or 4 months I was getting with Justin's was not working for sure. When I get a new pair of boots I wear them every day until there completely shot, I have 1 pair of boots at a time and they are all I ever wear until they are junk. Some of y'all getti g 2 years makes me think you either don't wear them every day or you don't work like I do :lol2:.

When I'm not pressure cleaning, I'm wearing the ariats. I'll wear out 2 pairs of the ankle high rubber lace up boots a year.

I may be wrong, but I think the way some of walk must wear out boots faster than others. I have pretty much been hard on shoes since childhood.

True. I've always been hard on shoes too. I sure would like to find a pair of 200.00 boots that last more than 2 years though. I think someone else mentioned that

I've tried them all and do good to get 6 to 8 months out of a pair. My dad could make the same boots last 2 years wearing them every day but I weigh 225 and he never weighed over a 160 pounds and I always figured that had something to do with it.
