While they may not in the beef business, they have lots of cattle that's for sure. Looks like he is crossed with a holstein...not a MaineX.

Well I know for sure, this bull will bring injustice to his breed. On other hand I'm having withdrawals of beltie steaks at this moment......but I don't want pay $1400 for a mongrel bull.

It took years for my grandfather(blessed his heart) found a high quality purebred belted galloway heifer (blessed her heart) for my 4-H and FFA shows when I was a young kid (before I got my first chest hair).

But I heard ya, these hobby inferior mongrels has tainted their breed egos.

Judging from the background and the holsteins, I seriously doubt that he is a buelingo.

you could be right. The buelingo started out as a Belted Galloway X Dutch Belted (Dairy) They originated 15 miles from my place.

A Belted Galloway X Holstien would look very similar

Well I know for sure: the seller will have tough time to sell him. Even a hobby farmer can see that it's not a purebred belted galloway.

well I got an email from the bull's owner....he claimed that this bull comes from a purebred belted galloway breeder. I told him that the breeder just sold him a crossbred bull.
