We had a very successful Beltie show this weekend in Pecatonica, Illinois.
There were 62 head in competition, larger than many breed's State Fair shows.
There were exhibitors from at least 5 states.
Our January bull calf earned Calf Champion in the Open show.
His January '12 sister stood second in class.(Open and Junior)
Our April steer stood second in the Open show and was picked Reserve Junior steer.
The folks were great and I encourage parents to consider Belties for their kids.
