Hey guys, I got home from work this morning and sweetie was watching Joel Osteen on TV and Joel told this story. I had just worked 10 hrs and drove an hour back home so forgive me if I lost something in translation, but I thought it was a pretty good story and it kinda tickled me.
Jeff was a successful businessman who loved his job, family, and wanted to do the best for both. He had been having health problems for some time and decided it was time to go see the doctor. He told the doctor that he had been getting dizzy and seeing white spots for some time now and thought it may be the pressure from work. The doctor sent Jeff through a series of tests and came back with some devistating news. The doctor told Jeff he had a dehabilitating disease and had six months to live at best. This news devistated Jeff so after much consideration, he decided to quit work and spend the rest of his life enjoying time with his family and friends. Jeff took his family on vacations around the world. They all went to family reunions together, church together, sporting events together just enjoying each others company. One day in the spring sunlight Jeff took his new convertible around town and saw a new tailor shop in town and feeling great and having no worries and being at piece with GOD decided to buy an entirely new suit. The tailor started taking measurement on Jeff. He measured Jeff's arms and said 33 inches. Then he measured Jeff's inseam and said 34 inches. Next he measured his waist and said 32 inches. He started measuring Jeff's neck size and said 16 and a half. Jeff said "that can't be right, my neck size has always been 15." So he meaused it again and said it's still 16 and a half. Jeff said that can't be right, I'm telling you its 15. The tailor said " Well, I'll make it 15 if you want it, but it'll make you dizzy and see white spots."
I guess eveyone will see a different moral to this story, but I enjoyed it and thought I'd share it with you all.
Hope ya'll enjoyed,
