Beefmaster or Santa Gertrudis

I was looking at chaging my head into straight Beefmaster or Santa Gertrudis but don't know how well the market is for them any in-site would be great

What are you try to accomplish? A hereford bull over the SG cows make some very good replacements that will bring top dollar.

With the beefmasters, you have a lot of choices. You can do well making terminal calves with a Angus, Limo or Charolais bull.

Your location may also make a big difference.

Would you run straight Beefmaster or Santa Gertrudis as in bull and heifer or not

Yes. Good quality beefmasters sell good at the barn around here. You can put Black Angus bulls across both also and do good.
