I thought someone on here was using some old Beau Rollo semen and liked the calves. I would like to see the pics of some of them calves.

These old genetics interest me. I like to see what they look like bred to a more modern day hereford cow. And would like to know what the growth was like. And what problems if any?

Wasnt one of Kit Pharo's hereford bulls a flush from an older hereford bull?

I'd suggest an ancestor of Online 122L - FHF Beau Rollo 33. Semen is cheap through Jim Reed, and I like the few calves I've had thus far.

I am partial to bulls that trace back to Beau Perfect 246.

By the way, I like the breeding and look of the Day Zato Tone 943 bull, and I'll likely try to AI some of the Lamplighter cattle to him.


I found this and looks like Tom Hasnt posted since 2009. Wonder if he tried the Day bull on those Lamplighter cows? Would anyone here know?
