Wow--that's astonishing Ouachita!!
There's actually an airport--in Mena Arkansas!!

(Might be like the airport here--I went in there one time to see about chartering a flight back to San Angelo--the sign over the counter just had Departures. I asked the girl about it and she said they took the arrivals sign down when the pilot told them if he ever got another paying fare out of there, he was never coming back. He was tired of flying back empty.

It's been cold this week over here too, I just drained the irrigation system on wednesday and it was -12C (about 10f), so I had to hurry up about it, and it's been hovering about that all week since.. supposed to warm up a bit again, and I'm hoping it doesn't bring snow... I have lots of grass left and I don't want to feed yet!

Been quite cold here the last few days[N E Mont]. Got down to -17 made the old cows feel sorry for themselves and it was a definite change. But as soon as we convinced them that the grass always taste's better when its got snow on it and cold weather will even make some ordinary feed seem edible they went back to the hills and to work.

Finally a day without rain. BUT is is snowing at a pretty good clip....

Shush you mouth. Snow?
Well afternoon sun yesterday melted the ground cover but frost this morning and 17 degrees. It is gonna snow, and I think this winter may be a blinger to make up for the last two..... Hope I am wrong.

My hay sales are darned slow, so if I have to feed early, I am not up a creek with a turd for a paddle... though I don't mind having a few hundred bales left over from year to year... it's warmed up a bit now, it just barely thawed out a little today... I just hope we don't get more snow in the next 2 weeks... I have lots of grass still

We will be lucky to see 16F as a high after next Wednesday. But in a way we are glad for it, as the mud we had before freeze up was getting bad, sinking the tractor to the axles. Gotta love Wisconsin concrete!
