Have a three year old due to calve in next week or two (no exact date) that has dropped weight and she no longer has a
straight backline. She has taken on a sway back appearance.

She is supposed to be Murray Grey x Angus, bred back to angus.
The weight loss seemed odd, she looks healthy and appetite is good.
But I have not seen a cows backline alter like that.
First two pictures are of her are back in February, other was taken yesterday.

Any thoughts or concerns ?

I call it tilt up when they get close to calving the pelvic area widens. and they also will look like they're belly is sucked up the calf turns up to get ready. Like everything else some cows will be noticeable and some will not. Like bagging up some will early and some wait till the last minute. They are females unpredictable!!

Thanks. I was worried about her. Had not seen that before, was worried the calf might be positioned wrong.
She got watched very closely, and she delivered perfectly.
