Take the day off before she comes back to clean the house. That way you only have to clean it once.

Actually, I was gonna suggest he hire someone he trusts to come in a day or two before she gets back and clean it. Cleaning once is one too many times, IMO. If her feelings get hurt because she thinks you don't need her you can tell her the truth. Either way, you come out smelling like a rose. Of course, you've gotta watch out for the old "you did such a good job you can do it from now on" thing. Be careful.

I have long suspected that is why a man who can run a company can't pick up his underwear. You screw it up on purpose so that you won't have to do it anymore.

Whenever I have to cook if my wife is not able to, my menu is like this.

Spaghetti w/toast
Hamburgers w/oven baked fries
Homemade Pizza
Steak and baked tater
Sloppy Joe's and mac & cheese
BBQ Chicken and Scalloped potatoes from a box

I'm pretty simple, really.

Heck Bandit you're darned near a gore-may cook. That sounds like a pretty good menu to me.

Sounds like my wifes menu. :(

A couple of years ago my wife and daughter went to Florida for a week. When they got back my wife asked me if I missed them . I said I'm about to, I just used the last clean glass.

Update.

It's now day 4 of my batching and things are going well with the exception of the hat incident.
I did go to wally world and buy up some paper plates,bowls and plastic forks and spoons. I hate unloading the dishwasher and trying to place everything back like the boss had them.Just aint gonna happen that I can get it right.Tells me I don't have a clue on how to arrange a cabinet. :oops: :oops:
I'm gonna eat out of paperware and leave the dishes undestirbed and the day before I pick her up I'll get rid of the rest of the paperware.
Maby she will be proud of me and even brag on me a little.

A hope anyhow.
