KIngdom City, MO is the place to sell bred cows and heifers this week in the US. Highest prices I have seen all day watching a dozen sales across the country, and best consistent prices I have seen all week anywhere. But damn what a bunch of cows! I have never seen as fine a quality of cows ever... even down here, And I mean hundreds of them, all top quality. Hell, I never saw 1 cow in a western or northern midwest sale to equal any of these. Apparently, producers in Mo strive for a Feb1st calving date with a 30-45 day window.
