I notice there is now an AI application for cattlemen called Ask Clara.
You can ask her for price information, weather conditions, cattle management procedures, money making strategies, or just fool around for fun.
Is this the end for Cattle Today? I know Clara is smarter than I am and maybe most of you.
We may be reduced to Graybeard's bad jokes and Ouichita's pictures of sunsets.

Ya mean like this? The first dead giveaway that Ai made an image is the blurred background. 2nd, count the allotment of fingers and toes, as well as eyes and other body parts. This one was posted (without my yellow box and #s) over on a Marine discussion board. She got troubles on her right hand and her left arm and hand look pretty sketchy as well. The big post on her left is straight up and down, but the chair on her right is decidedly leaning over to the right.

I'm not sure it's taking over just yet. Autonomous driving vehicle was on the wrong side of the road, couldnt figure it out and parked itself in a lot.
What could possibly go wrong when computers take over?

Some of these AI answering bots have a way to ask them questions about their own functions. After getting some clearly wrong information I've tried to have a conversation with them to point out their errors and eventually, if you ask the right questions, they will find what they need to answer the original question properly. But that doesn't mean they learn anything. They will still use bad information if it is more easily found. And they have human "trainers" behind them... and they will tell you that their human trainers can corrupt any information with a human bias.
I get in a lot of conversations with vegans, and it seems the bots are being "trained" by vegans a lot of times. And it's d**n hard to educate a vegan or get them to admit they are uninformed and using bad information.

My son-in-law, who works for Microsoft (in Seattle, where they typically don't have to deal with much more weather than rain), would absolutely disagree and want to argue with you about it... Current technology uses GPS and "watches" the white line on the right side (among other things), to determine the lane.

So I asked him, "How is a computer going be able to deal with the inevitable construction lane changes, black ice, intermittent icy conditions, or a snow-covered road?"

Completely seriously, he asked me, "Well, how do YOU know how to safely react to those conditions?"

Me: "I see the approaching conditions and respond accordingly."

Him: "We can teach a computer to see the same things, and respond accordingly too."

Think I should have been a lawyer... I see alot of lawsuits in the future.
