Does anyone ever watch that show ? I still get a chuckle out of it ,I love British comedy. What are your favorite Brit comedy shows ?

Brilliant, Coupling, Hello hello ,Dad's Army, The Likely Lads, Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, Are You Being Served?, Yes Minister, Only Fools and Horses, Absolutely Fabulous, The Vicar of Dibley, Father Ted, Blackadder, One Foot in the Grave, Some Mothers Do Ave Em, waiting for God.

There are so many of them . Almost forgot Monty Python..

Used to watch Monty Python religiously when I was a young pup and have seen all their movies. They still make me laugh when I see an old clip of theirs. Enjoyed Mr. Bean once in awhile, too. Don't watch much TV anymore so I don't know anything about the more recent stuff.

Van, I think Mr HD learned english from most of the older Brit comedies especially Monty Python and of course Black Adder and Fawlty Towers. The Dutch did not overdub? but used sub titles. One of his moms favorite shows was Dallas, so it is funny when we for some reason discuss it and he knows almost more than I do.. :lol2:

We get them on PBS here. They show Last of the Summer Wine weeknights. On Saturdays, they show Keeping Up Appearances Waiting on God, As Time Goes By and Are You Being Served. The humor is so much better than most of the comedies I see on tv now. They used to show Vicar of Dibley, which I think was pretty great. They are just all around good shows.
