Could a bank holiday be declared as it was in the thirties. I think that the wife and I have about $2000 in the strong box here at the house. All other cash would require a transfer electronically to a bank from my mutual fund provider. Then I would have to go to the bank to withdraw any cash and the bank being closed. I think this pandemic is going to really show how much a person cannot not need as for as surviving. There is going to be a highlighting of careers that are totally not needed such as entertainment, travel, eating out and a lot of other things we will find we will not need. All purchases now are done with a debt card. Have no idea how any one else's financial life works.
