First let me give you a background on the cow. We bought a heifer last fall that was bred at 18 months to an Angus bull. She calved on a Tuesday morning in March The next afternoon she was showing signs of calving. We got the vet to come and check her. She still had a calf in her, but it was already dead. It took five hours to pull the calf. He ended up having to give the cow an epizomity (I know that this is not spelled right). Neither one of us thought that the cow would live, so he did not sew her up. The calf that was born first weighed 45 lbs, and the dead one weighed 95 lbs. She ended up making it, but it was too late to sew her up, so we treated her daily with peroxide and antibiotics till she healed. She should calve again in February.

My question is there any problems that we should expect when she calves? Will her not being sewn up give us problems?

Given the circumstances described, I would expect a fair amount of scar tissue. I agree with llcupit - ship her.
