It appears that there are people who think that I was using them as an example. That was NOT my intention at all. I am very sorry that I inadvertantly made it sound as though I thought that they were neglecting their animals. In fact, while their post may have had some bearing on what I wrote, there were a lot of other factors and posts that added to what I wrote. Including the old holstein cow that we took to the vet. I did not intend to make it sound as though every one should follow my example, I was simply using her as an example of one of those cows that you would have to think on your decision about. I do in fact at the moment smell of dead cow and birthing fluids from another old cow that we had to make a different decision on.

So please accept my apology, and I hope, that I do not cause anyone to feel this way in the future.

I AM sorry :(

Keep your chin up. I thought you were misunderstood but I didn't have a dog in the race. There were some good points being debated and I was following the thread.

Wow, don't check in for a day or so and guess I missed something that must have really struck a nerve as I've sure seen my fair share of posts on here that should have been pulled but never were that had lots of name calling and other out of line crap. Makes me wonder if some get by with stuff others can't but I guess I should not even comment on something I know nothing about.

For what it's worth, Randi, I haven't seen anything in your posts that seemed offensive.

Might be that some folks are a wee bit hypersensitive, and view any comments that may or may not apply to them as personal attacks; but then you can't please everyone and with some there's no pleasing them at all (had a sister-in-law like that once...what a prickly little piece of work she was... ).

Anyway, hope you keep posting. I find them interesting to read.

Take care and happy calving. ;-)

I disagree say what you think and what you mean no one learns feeding them sugar coated replies.
To plow the field you have to get the mules attention first a fine piece of hickory works best.

Am I any of "those people" that may have misunderstood Randi?

Are there others of us who don't understand?

If you are one of those people then, I have apologized. There was no intent to make you out to the bad guy. So whether you accept the apology or not is up to you.

Backhoeboogie; Oh, the chin is up. I feel bad that there are people who misunderstood what was being said. That said however, I cannot do any more than what I have done to apologize and the rest is up to them!

EIEIO; go ahead and comment. I wasn't aware until later on that there was a problem.

CattleAnnie; Thank you, and I am thinking the same thing as you, oh well.

CausticBurno; Why thank you for your comments!! :) I do appreciate the support, but, I do not want to make some one think I am telling tales on them either :o

This crusty old fart missed the whole show.

I figure you just get back on the horse and go for a stroll in the field.

Those that value your opinion will communicate with you - the rest just do not matter.

Stay well,

Bez!

Why not just let the whole deal die. Maybe it will take a bullet to kill it completly

Didn't expect an apology, but if it will help end this - accepted

( Three more calves on the ground since and I haven't shot anything either  ) And I think one of their daddies comes from a place right near you so we shouldn't be enemies.

In keeping with dun's advice and with the assistance of Gliderider's graphics BOOM!!
