Has anyone tried a medicine better than Nuflor for pneumonia? I discovered one of my 300wt calves had pneumonia last night, and was just wondering if any of you had tried anything else that was better?
 
Draxxin works better for us. Actually, since they changed the Nuflor to Resflor, I really don't think it works as good. Which is too bad cause I really like the idea of the banamine with it!
 
The last one we treated was several years ago and we used Excenel to good affect

Thanks everyone. I got some Draxxin from my vet because he said it was a longer acting drug. I also gave it a shot of Banamine, to help get it back to where its wanting to eat. Will check today to see how it does.
 
I've always had great luck with draxxin but early last fall I had some heifers penned up weaning them and the best one started having pnuemonia symptoms.A shot of draxxin didn't help at all so tried nuflor then next day banamine before I found out about resflor.I was also giving her b12 shots and probiotic then a few days later a shot of resflor.She made it but I almost lost her she looked like a standing skeleton.
