at the farm i work at we just quit milking 30 holistiens and milking shorrthorns so just to pass the time (iam only 14) i decided to go in 4-h again and it turned out that my shorthorn calf place betterrt han mostly all of the holstiens i was suprised at this because usaully the shorthorns place last in an all holsiten class lol
 
4-H achievement days here last week, and the shorthorns for the most part beat the holstiens, and in the beef division even beat out the usual angus. Very nice looking cattle. Filled out nice, good frame, and excellent disposition on all of them.
 
nope my boss just got out in decemeber so we are in partner ship with a man that has topof the line holsitens who rents my bosses qouta. the calfff that i am training right nwo for 4-H one of her grandmothers one the royal in toronto as a summer yearling
 
welll he rents our qouta and our cows while we still keep cows at our the main farm and when they dry up he brings them back
