My husbands Great Aunt used to make this concoction for when the fellas were working the hay fields. All I know is that it had Apple Cider vinegar in it. I would love to make it for him now that we are finally cutting hay (way too late, but better late than never - wishing mother nature would give us a break)

Anyway, I'm looking desperately for this drink recipe. Anyone have any ideas............

Does this sound like what you're looking for ?

3/4 to 1 cup raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup raw honey (pure, raw, unfiltered, unheated)
28 ounces unsweetened grape juice
28 ounces unsweetened apple juice

Mix all ingredients together.

Makes 1/2 gallon of juice.

Googled this one - hope it helps, doesn't sound real pleasant though.

Actually, I think it may be similar. I seem to recall (hopefully not falsely) that it also had honey in it. Thanks!! What did you google for? I tried but didn't come up with much.

not what you are looking for but applejuice mixed with ginger ale makes a pretty good drink too.
