Picked up one late last year.. It was advertised for sale and I thought.. hey that look fun and we've had a blast with the thing.. haven't played one for probably 20 years. Figured it would be fun to have around. Well.. it is! I loved it so much I picked up 3 more so far. I'm not even very good but I still like playing. My son is really good and I can't beat him!

Thata awesome. We played as kids all the time. There is still a Cafe here that has one and we play.

I went on a road trip with a buddy and a couple of girls back in the day. We were heading to Las Vegas in a '63 Plymouth station wagon. What a trip...
On the way we stopped at a tiny town, a local burger joint, and they had a pinball machine.
Now I've never played pinball to any great extent... but this machine and I had something special. I started winning free games and some of the local kids started to pay attention. They started to gather, and someone slipped a quarter into the juke box and kept playing Pinball Wizard.
We had miles to go, so I left the free games to the locals after a while.
Made for a fun memory.

I am old enough to remember the pinball machines that had no flippers. They may or may not have been considered gambling devices, but it seems that the local authorities just looked the other way.

I guess ya just shoot the ball up and see what hole it falls into….
And if the balls drop in the holes that line up on the grid, you win free "games". Which of course could be cashed in for money.

There's a place over in Killeen that has some for sale, or did late last year. It's a pretty big indoor fleamarket. I think the recorded name is Golden Flea Market but it generally goes by the moniker CAF fleamarket with the first two letters standing for Cheap As. I bought a LOT of outdoor stuff there for less than 1/2 retail price.
