Here in KY, March is traditionally known as a windy month; however, spring doesn't always live up to it's reputation, and I don't recall paying as much attention to it in years past as I have this year. It's April, and winds are still howling. the temperature is pushing 60 here today, and the wind makes it feel like December, it's cut me to the bone. The annoying part is that it's been blowing day after day after day for a long time.

Anyone else experiencing a windy spring?

Spring winds no... Damaging winds that's turning over my kids rabbit coop and messing up other stuff and breaking tree limbs yes... I don't think id classify ours as spring winds

Been terrible here in Ohio. I live on what looks like a small mountain top, with absolutely nothing to break the wind. Monday night was the worst, 40-50 mph is what they said in the paper.

We have been getting steadily hammered. Lost hay shed, limbs, trees, etc. It's nuts this year.

Pretty much always windy in KS! Last few weeks averaging 30 mph during the day with 50 mph gusts. Limbs everywhere, poor cows have watery eyes from the dust because we haven't had any rain, everyone is trying to burn on the rare days the wind tapers off - which of course segues into wildfires everywhere. Temps are alllll over the place from low 40's at night (which feels like low 30's) to upper 70's/low 80's. Most bizarre winter & spring in years, way warmer than normal which was great for calving but scares me; makes me wonder if we're going to have another freakishly hot, dry summer & another drought.

Yup, same deal with the continuous winds. On top of that the daytime temp ranges from 75 to 40 over a couple day span.

Haven't been able to do much grass seed spreading with all this wind.
On the plus side, all of the wind is blowing the dust out of the hog barn.
Calm cold days are the worst for barn ventilation.
