Wow,

This is getting weird. There were people outside in t-shirts this morning... I had only a light sweater... you couldn't see your breath, and grass and flowers are starting to grow... it is almost February!! This time last year we had snow up to my hips...

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing weird weather in other parts of the world...

Yea same here in Western New York.

Normally at this time of year we have 1-3ft of snow on the ground and daily temps hit a high of about 25-28f.

Yesterday we hit mid 50's in temp and there isnt a spot of snow left on the ground....everything is mud.

Today I woke up to driving rain and wind gusts up to 50mph. Its supposed to drop from 46f this morning to down in the 20's this evening and then warm right back up to 40'ish degrees for the next few days. These 40 degree temperature swings in a 12 hour period are getting old lol.

Been a very weird winter so far and no signs of it returning to normal.

Weird weather in my neck of the woods, too. I had bus duty (yeah!) Tuesday, in the sleet/snow mix - then Friday, bus duty - I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans! Go figure. I figured it was only in Kentucky, but it sounds like it's everywhere.

Yes, we are having an extremely warm winter. They talk about cold coming but it doesn't really get here. Today it was only
-3C. I even heard a gopher squeak and we have back a bunch of little birds that don't fly back north to us this early usually. Not that I am complaining believe me!

Talk about strange weather - it is supposed to rain here in Texas tonight and tomorrow!!!

Weather variable here in Australia. Southern Australia is sweltering today. Melbourne over 40C and bushfires through Victoria state,Tasmanias hot and so is South Australia. The western part of our state is warm. We are only about 27C today. Cyclone active on the north west of Australia and the monsoon is entrenched in the north of Queensland and across the Northern Territory and the top of Western Australia.
I could work for the weather bureau,ha ha.

dropped near 15 degrees here today. Only 20 now. Do the math. Way too warm for this area this time of year. We'll pay for it later.
Like vout March and april when the hay chould be growing and it is 20 degrees.

Minus 25 degrees C this am when I left for work at 4:45 am. Currently O degrees C out there. Forecast was actually accurate for once. Supposed to have a high of plus 6 degrees C for Sunday and Monday.

Unfortunately supposed to drop down to minus twenty-nine by next Friday (ugh...).

Any takers on my first set of twins for the year landing on that day? ;-)

Take care.

Might want to re-name the post: Is anyone having normal weather? 45 here, and pouring cats and dogs. We could get up to 2-3 inches between tonite and the A.M. Our temps have been like the Almanac said, a Polar Coaster.

Not totally unusual, but were getting days in the 80's already. Looks like it will be a warm summer. And the worst part is us folks in tropical climates know what happens in warm summers with no winds aloft. ARRRRR. It's a blowin matees! Shiver me timbers, She's comin about!

This is what I'm afraid of. I have enough hay to make it through a "normal" winter up here.

I called a guy today and going to pick up 15 ton of second cutting hay for a little insurance.

Polar coaster!

Ours weather has been super warm as well. WOnder if this means we will have a scorcher summer this year?!
