I know excatly what you mean... there is this boy that wins every show no matter what... here are some things
-stop your cow in place, like so you don't have to move the feet.
-move around to the front of the cow when the judge moves to the side thatyour on.
-set the feet up square and fast.
-teach your cow to stand still for 5+ mintues
-Pratice makes perfect.
As for Questions;
-frame score size
-weight
-sire name and tag number
-dam name and tag number
-if bred, who is she bred to?
-what is she bred to that bull for?
-how far into gestation is she?
-what is her due date?
-how old
-age to the day
-birthdate
-regestered name
-how did you learn to show?
-how long have you been showing?
-what breed is it?
-learn the body parts
-how many days in a gestation period
-normal tempture
- how ofton does a go into heat
-what are your cows feeding habits.
-what percent fat do you feed your cows?
-how do you groom a cow?
-were are the ___name a body part___ on your cow?
-what breed is the most common in the usa?
-how do you a.i a cow?
-name the reproduction tract in a cow
-names the reproductive tract in a bull
-what is marbling?
-what would change about your animal?*use good terms*
i few judges will trick you and ask question like : how many times does a cow go into heat when she is bred? answer = never..........so think about hard questions like that write them down and learn them...good luck!!!!!!
