Anybody tried one?

Help Support CattleToday:

I put a regular Aftermarket on a Ford 3600 and then got my original OEM starter repaired later. THe aftermarket starter had good zip, but after about four years it would not work. I put the OEM one back on and did not take the aftermarket for repair as it maybe something simple.

The AM I bought worked good as they probably have improved since.

I'm a big fan of gear reduction starters on my old gas burners. Can't say how they'd be on a 4020. Game changer for my old Fords though.

I'm thinking that I should get the old one rebuilt and have it on hand. Just in case it quits again.

Supposed to make a big difference.

Also so a video where one broke off at the snout and pretty much trashed everything in the clutch housing.
