Does anyone remember the business called, "Needler's John Deere Service." I have a thermometer with the name of it, and I just wanted to know more about it. It says the phone number is 1368. Now that is an old telephone number .

Probably 70 miles to Shelbyville for me. "Needlers" sort of rings a bell, but I never did business with them. Every town used to have more than one machinery dealer but they're mostly gone now. Mega dealers every hundred miles or so it seems.
My town had JD, IH, Ford and, I think, Oliver. They all made money selling tractors for $1500, it seemed. Well, those days are long gone.
