Any Moose Hunters out there?

I was on a job in Greeley CO. a few years back not long after they reintroduced moose in that area. I came home one night and told my wife that I was going moose hunting, You can't go moose hunting you don't have a permit she said. I informed her that I did not need a permit, why she asked, because it is not moose season I said. Needles to say, I didn't go.
