Wow! What a day! Its been snowing herer since about 3:30am. The wind picked up about 6:00 and they canceled school. There are not signs of it lettting up tonight. I'm not sure exactly how much we have but the show barn is completley covered (about 10' drifts) and the horse barn is covered about half-way up the door and thats about 6-7' drifts.

If you can't tell, those are bulls

Mom and dad were out driving around that the drifts they were driving though were about grill high

I'll post some more pictures tomorrow before we plow and show you guys just how high some of the drifts are :D

Stay Warm!!

The wind has slowed down, but its still snowing. :D

Front of the showbarn. There is no possible way of getting into there becuase the snow covers then entire door.

I don't have a picture of it, but the heifer/steers water trough was completley covered w/ about 8' drifts. We had to dig a path with a shovel

I woke up this am to the news that huge sections of Interstate 25 were shut down and and Denver airport closed.
Indiana is getting it (the storm) today, as rain. I just drove to Indy and back on I-65 and my heart was in my throat the whole way. Torrents of rain and truck spray. Some wind. Glad to be home.
With that tractor, it looks like you can deal with the snow pretty quick.

Oh what fun! That is a cool pic of the bulls, hope your animals make it through in good shape, this weather is really hard on them.

So pretty for Christmas though, the kids will love it!!! ;-) ;-)

No snow as yet and hope we don't get any, but lots of freezing fog, real pea soupers, can't see hand in front of face type they have closed Heathrow Airport and it is causing chaos. so glad I am not going away this year. It has cleared a bit where I live, so am venturing out to get last minute bits, and want to get home before it falls again tonight.

hope the Cattle are safe and all come out through it, sure your used to it by now, take care and have a great Christmas, and Prosperous New Year. Co:2008
