I don't like using loose mineral. It's a real pain. I prefer blocks.
But I'm about convinced you can get better minerals in loose form. So I'm working it in.
I recently bought the wind and rain.(give credit where it's due) on the advice of Texas bred.
I can't speak on the performance of the mineral yet. I have noticed the cows eat it well, and surprisingly, I've seen a noticeable improvement on the flys
