I'm pretty set on picking up a Black Angus clean up bull (red is not out of the question). However I know nothing about their EPD's, the only angus EPD'S I really care to much about at this early stage is, using Hereford terminology, is BW and CED EPD'S. I want a heifer bull what range on the EPD'S should I look at? I will also be looking at the bull's Sires and Dams EPD'S.

Thanks

Average CED is 5 id like them to be at 10 for heifers Average BW is 1.7 id like to be 1 or below but i kinda play with these if its a higher CED maybe a little more BW and vise versa so for me theres not really a deffinate number and probably lots of different answers i think it would be different where your at compared to where im at.

I don't squinch up too much with a CED of 7 or higher on heifers; pay more attention to CED than BW - but try to keep BW below 2.
