I remember Andy Rooney poking fun at Pat Robertson. Mr. Robertson had heard from the Father that "W" would win by a big margin hence Rooney made all sorts of wise cracks. I have to wonder, what Andy says now?

I have asked them for their home number and told them I would call them back at home! They just get mad and hang up.

If you cna get who they are and ask them not to call they are obligated by law not to.

They should't do that. It's rude on their part. You should call their supervisor and report the non-telemarketer.

she asked questions

plans
special bout plans
features
hear all the ring tones
coulor of the phone

kept going on and on

I like just letting them stay on hold until they hang up better.

In years past I tried all of the sure fire tricks, putting the phone down, telling them no, not answering, etc. The best and most sure fire I've found is also the simpelist, get on the no call list. I got one call after I was on it and I asked if they knew what the fine was for calling. Other then Laura Bush, Barbara Bush and John Ashcrofts wife calling on election day I haven't had any junk calls in 3 years. The MO no call list works, hopefully the federal will work as well

Back on the subject, kinda...

Does anyone else get those d@#$%n annoying faxes?? Every morning for the past week, I have come into my office and there have been at least 2 on my fax machine. Everything from free vacations to refinancing homes. Someone gave out my number and it is really pi$$ing me off. I have called the no-fax back number on the pages, but they still come through!!

This sux because the toner for the fax ain't real cheap! My next step is to fax back the company that makes the offer with about 20 telephone book pages, with the little bitty writing on each page and see how they like it!
