You're probably right about the college kids liking David C..he's there age and sings more their type music. He's a good performer. David A. may be just a kid but in the long run he'll be a star. Maybe not in the next couple of years but wait and watch. Love songs are not out. I like to hear talent...a real trained voice...someone that doesn't yell and sing off pitch etc. David A. does this and he can sing with feeling. David C. does not sing the music I would buy either. Just not my thing. Course I wouldn't buy Bo Bice either nor Ruben Studdard and especially not Fantasia.....But regardless I think both are winners and have a geat future ahead of them and they can thank "American Idol".
Daughtry is a rocker and only folks who even remember him aer those that like that kind of music. QUOTE:
I hope you are kidding, Daughtery has had mega hits since he released his album. He wrote severalof the songs on his albnum also, and his "Home" song is still played alot on the radio, as is his newest hit.
Fantasia, Rueben, they got good voices, but I'm not interested in their music, but rock n roll will always live on, and will definetely outlast anything that David A puts out. I read on the internet a few days ago that they both already have record deals with Sony, so we will see who sells more records, when the music is released. I can guarantee you that David A won't be writing any of his own songs, whereas David Cook will be, because he understands music, from performing in bars, etc over the years. I think David A will sell to the teeny boppers but his staying power will not be there, I imagine eventually he will end up on Broadway with alot of the other idols- :)
