May can buy them cheaper and better than raising them.
I don't know but I've spotted a set of fall calvers that might go work too that I ain't married too

At least the first part I am. We do keep heifers though.
 
She'd make a decent enough commercial cow. Honestly, if I wasn't stuck hard on the genetic future of my herd I'd buy older cows and never have a replacement heifer on the place.
