Almost lost a 2 1/2 month calf under a bale of hay. Rode cattle and was missing a calf. Checked the whole place no calf. Went back to the hay feeding area and noticed a bale turned on end. Walked over and moved the hay ring and pushed it back up straight. The calf was underneath in the hole that had been eaten out. Use hay rings to try and prevent this but still it will happen every now and then.
