Had last calf yesterday, so decided to take some pictures of the spring 2015 crop.

Just beautiful calves. Nothing is any prettier than little Hereford calves. Thanks for sharing those great pictures. Congrats on being through. I know that is a good feeling. You sure do have some fine calves.

They do look nice.. I had 1 of 3 stragglers calf today.. I knew it was going to be a surprise calf, and as I rode by the corral at lunch.. whoa! she's got a calf!

Beautifull photos of beautifull cattle Aaron. You only need 3 colours with your camera, red white and green.
Is that rye grass they are on? Is there much clover in it?

Quackgrass. One of my old bale-grazing areas. Gets so thick and heavy, I can't get it cut early enough for hay, so the cows got turned into it. It was so tall and thick at the beginning, the tallest calves were only 3 inches higher, the smaller ones completely disappeared in it.

Really nice cattle Aaron, but where are the snow banks?

No snow, but lots of water. One of the wettest May's on record here. Got about 10 inches in that month alone. June is usually the wet month here.

Nice cattle Aaron! Where are all the flies? LOL B&G

With all the rain here every other day, flies are really screwed up this year. Horse flies have been around for a few weeks, but were only really bad here for a couple days -water is knocking them back. Deer flies/face flies/horn flies are late - they should be here already. Cattle are really enjoying this summer so far.

Those are some great looking calves and cows! It's hard not to want to sell everything and buy some herefords with photos like that.
