thanks for the info, durango has plenty of shade and salt and fresh water. he acts like he's too tired most of the time, to go any faster than a leisurely pace...till he sees his "bucket" coming. suddenly, he flies!!! not sure what to make of him but those veins really bug me, as they come and go...thanks again,mell...

Mine do it too when it's hot, if they get too much of a sweat going I just hose them down, all but one will just stand and let me do it to them.

I wouldn't worry too much if he is eating and drinking okay.
