I have heard that a180 is good med. Talked to one cattle buyer that likes it due to 4 day withdraw time. He gives a second dose the next day. I know the info I've read says give a second dose 48 hours after the first. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've seen it used with good success on older heifer calves. I'm struggling to remember what drug it replaces, one that was lethal if injected into a human.

I have used micotil have had good success, just looking for something as good but safer. Most of the time I'm a one man operation want to put the kids through school before i go.

No silver bullets here. Every time I think I have it figured out something new comes up...

Most folks do not take sick cattle's temperature or weight daily. If you have a great eye and/or take daily measurements - - then you can start with generic oxycycline and work your way up. I try to avoid Mytcotil too but it does a great job.

I hope my kids send some money home to support the ranch before I am gone!
