A new way to check cows

We have a guy that flys one of those glider things over one of our places. If he gets too low it freaks the cows out. LoL They don't like it.
I had a friend once that flew those. His home was on top of a mountain about 50 miles away. He would take off from the side of the mountain and fly all over East Tennessee.

That's cool as all get out, man. Wonder how much they cost? Reckon they are regulated about like ultra-lites and gyro-copters are?
from google search:
The Jetson One costs $128,000 plus taxes and fees, which includes an initial $8,000 deposit to secure an order. The price has increased from its initial cost and is sold out for 2024 and 2025, with deliveries now expected to begin in 2027 for new orders.
  • Total Price: $128,000 (plus taxes and fees)
  • Deposit: $8,000 to reserve an order
  • Current Availability: The production slots for 2024 and 2025 are sold out.
  • Earliest Delivery: The earliest a new order can be delivered is in 2027
Wonder if TN's ag tax exemption tax would work?:)😀

Hey Silver, check this

pretty cool looking but I don't think I'd like it, I will rarely use the 4 wheelers, I'd rather still use a horse. Quieter more peaceful and easier to ease up into the herd without making a big ruckus and getting a closer look at things

Oh, me too. I would never use it around cows. I just would like to have one to ride around in. But I am about $127,000 short to be able to get one right now! :)

What happens if the battery fails? You drop straight down. I'd rather ride my horse, see the beauty of nature close up and check my cattle with a much shorter way to fall down.

I'd be more worried about 1 propellor dropping off, I think you'd be in big $hit then.

Two statisticians were on a plane from LA to New York. About an hour into the flight, the captain announced: "We've lost one engine. We have three left, but we'll arrive an hour late."
A while later, the pilot announced: "We've lost a second engine. We still have two fine engines, but we'll be three hours late."
Just off the coast, a third engine failed. The pilot came back on: "We can still make it with one engine, but we will be six hours later than expected."
The first statistician turned to the second and said, "Gee, I hope we don't lose that last engine, or we'll be up here forever!"
