Was checking cows in one pasture yesterday- forgot camera until a thunderstorm rolled in and sent me heading back to my pickup...

Anyway I found a couple of the neighbors yearlings out on highway- so got them in for them... This pasture is over 10,000 acres..
This pasture is all black cattle... Not to be discriminatory they have another pasture that is all red cattle... ;-)

The yearlings are really starting to bunch up- mainly near the water holes.. Last week when I went by this spot- there must have been at least a 1000 head scattered up the creek bottom..
They are looking pretty good... I imagine they will start shipping these within the next month...

Real nice set of steers, they look like they are about ready to go on feed and finish the process.
