Hey everyone just thought I'd share my story...
3 years ago we bought a male Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. Two winters ago he accidently bred a yellow lab and that was the end of his manly days. Last summer we got him neutered. The vet pulled too hard and his stomach wall ruptured. Well they rushed him back into surgery and repaired the stomach. A couple days later, fluid started leaking from inbetween his sutures. We took him back to the vet and he(the vet) had sutured wrong and Jack's (dog) intestines were coming out the inside suture line. Well, after another surgery to repair that mistake Jack made a full recovery.
This past December Jack stopped eating. We took him to the vet after he lost a considerable amount of weight. He had to go under again so the vet could remove what was blocking this intestines, a huge ball of paper towel/baling string.
I don't know, but I think this fella must have 9 lives or something because he's survived so far and is nearing his 4th birthday. I thank God every day that my little buddy is still with us!!!
