One of my favorite cows, Not really sure what her breeding is. I can make guesses but have no records on her.

here is a SAV Birthstone bull out of a first calf heifer. Born I believe 2/21/13 Haven't made up my mind whether he will stay intact or lose them.

Birthstone heifer. Would be 3/4 sib to the bull

Here is a bull calf somebody missed when we ran them this spring. He is bound for steerdom

Yes, Amerifax were cheaper than angus back in the day so that's what grandpa bought.

We've always had at least one around. Home raised and usually a red carrier. Keeps you guessing at calving time. The rest of the bulls are all registered angus mostly Schaff breeding at the current time. We will swing back to Ohlde or Sinclair bulls when the time comes.

Yes they have beef friesien in them. that vast majority of our cowherd is 75% angus or more with the majority being more. But for some reason we have a strain of spots that go back to the old flowered simmy cows that show up. We have had spotted cows my entire life. Would love to get rid of the bulls that are doing that from the stand point of uniform color but it is hard to do when a home raised bull lasts 8 years and you just never know for sure what genes he is carrying.

Really like the heifer, and my mamma always said pretty is as pretty does so that little cow is pretty to me cause she is doing a jam up job on that calf. Thanks for sharing the pics good looking cattle.
