You don't have to look twice to tell what they are. Good looking heifers. Have always liked red cattle on a green background.

Good looking heifers. Most of mine are black, mainly because that is what sells in my area. I will always love the red cattle.

Great looking heifers! Our kids used to call the cows "grass boats" when they were out in tall grass cruising around. You've got some happy looking grass boats, Wewild.

Thanks everyone. Some of them will make it to the cow pastures and some will wind up at the barn. We are please with the start.

This pasture was vacated back in Feb when the calved heifers went to one of the cow pastures. It hasn't had anything on it since these where moved here 2 weeks ago. Our cow pastures don't look this good. The other heifers are over behind the trees on the left. They will calve this winter.

This pasture hasn't had an animal on it since Feb. I wish we did too at other places.

It seems they like it purty well.

I have tried a different technique this year that I am pleased with so far. The big animal in the back ain't a heifer. She is a bred cow. She will calve this winter as they are being bred. The heifers have calmed quicker and flock to her at times of uneasiness.
