If you had 7600.00 and wanted to double your money in a yr how would you do it?

buy cows?
buy heifers to breed and sell calves

buy feeders?

Any thoughts on this?

I wish I was stinking rich but unfortunately the sale barn paycheck goes to tractor/equipment repairs, vet bills, minerals, creep feeds, electric bills (waterer gonna need to stay warm in winters), meds for cattle, paying rent for both bulls and pastures. Of course the horses mooching off us.

Car title loans.

Well I could buy cars fix and sell for small profit. I am pretty good at that.

I really think the car market is horrible for the simple fact that its either new or junk. since cash for clunckers their really hasn't been a middle priced car that wasn't junk. I have been buying them with bad trans and replacing and flipping them . I have done ok.

JHH I"m talking about those people who work but are constantly broke. They put the title to their car up for collateral on a $200 dollar loan and interest is about $100 a week. It should be illegal but they are everywhere.

High return, comes with high risk. I've had, and I've had not. I know which one I like better. If 76 hundred dollars is a large amount to you (it is to me), I wouldn't put it on anything that could lose it.

I'm a newbie, but if I knew how to double my money in a year I'd be on a beach somewhere with a butler.
I'd personally rather be on the beach with the maid..

I can't tell you the best way, but I can tell you a really fun way that I tried recently with quite a bit less money than you are speaking of. Earlier this summer I went to Vegas for the best bachelor party ever. I had $1000.00 and a plan. I ran with my lucky # 12. I played roulette only. I bet $10 minimum and $50 maximum. I walked around alot and if I saw a table that hadn't hit 12 in a while and had some cool looking folks sitting there I would place my bets. I did extremely well. I roomed with one of my best buds whom at the time had probably the best mullet anyone has ever seen and we had the time of our lives. I've got some pictures. As far as cattle goes I'd buy some cheap cows and a good linebred bull.

Double ????? I don't know of a "for sure way" there is risk in every thing you do, I say NEVER make an investment that you cannot afford to loose if something goes wrong. Now depending on how much you know as to what to do, how well do you know cattle, If it was me wanting to buy some cattle then move them I would go with older heavy bred salebarn cattle buy in spring sell cow and big calf in fall. I have did this and did well. BUT THERE IS RISK !!! and when I do it I see a lot of cows sale before I ever get bought ever how many I am wanting you still have to watch which ones you buy. I buy a lot of the off colored cows cheaper and more times than not they will have I black calf

Sell everything you have, and live in a cardboard box.

I did that 89 years, won't ever go back.
Still in the same box?? ;-)

No silly, I started out in a microwave box, and now i'm up to a double wide fridge box.
