Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom: The one who has understanding must calculate the number of the beast, because it is the number of a man. His number is 666.

Today I was loading some steers and one kicked my hand. Busted my middle finger and sprained my thumb. I got over to the stockyard and unloaded as they were putting the stickers on I happen to look down and the next sticker was 666. I immediately thought about the mark of the beast, the antichrist, 666. I wondered which one would get that number. I bet you know where this is going, yeap they tagged the devil that kicked me. I said to myself well that fits. I got another kick out of him, better than the first one.

It got mine too there bigfoot. Glad it was just a hand he got there deepsouth. Id hate to see you all broke up my friend.

I have seen some barns skip that number and 13. I was at a sale barn and guy was tagging the calves when he got to 013 he threw it in a barrel they had a fire going in to keep warm I just laughed.

Waco, one day a coworker of mine told me he was going to the stockyard to buy a cow.He asked me to go with him. Our office isn't far from the barn so we headed out. At the barn Travis was walking the catwalk looking at cows. He finally found a pen he liked. He was looking them over asking me what I thought of this and that one. Finally he pointed one out and said I really like that one. I said looks good to me. Suddenly he said can't buy her she's the devil cow. I thought he must have seen her do something mean to another cow. I asked why is she a devil cow? He said look at her tag number. Sure enough it was 666. He said I ain't buying her. I thought he was kidding but sure enough he didn't buy her. :lol2:
I called Travis on my home and told him what happened. He said I should have told them not to put that number on my steer. He says I won't get much for him. We'll see.

:lol2: :lol2: Probably just a big old baby too. ;-)

I use to hear the old timers talking about drinking that "Three Sixes" tonic of some sort. Was suppose to do a pretty good job for whatever ailed you. Probably had a fairly high alcohol content as well.

My favorite breakfast at Macd's cost 6.66. It always freaks the cashiers out. I have had them many time tell me it is 6.65, just so they don't have to deal with that number.

Mel whatever you do don't give those girls the "evil eye". You'll be replacing the back door.

666 is actually a checksum. The numbers of his name add up to 666 in other words. I've heard that both Nebucaneezer and Anthichous the 4th names add up to 421. I guess you have to be knowledgable in Hebrew?

I have a cow with the number 666 because she tore up my brand new working pen years ago. She is getting sold this year.

I was told that is why some barns don't use that number. The barn owner is not superstitious but buyers are and if you have even one less buyer that is losing money.

Work at it long enough, using whatever language you want and I guess you can make a lot of names add up to 666. I read somewhere that Ronald Reagan added up to 666.
