well I will give you a burger recipe that my wife loves she has about burnt me out on them
(I guess I should of never made them in the first place LOL)

1lb burger
2Tbsp chopped onion
salt
pepper
1 tsp Jalepeno pepper juice
1 tsp Chili powder
1 or 2 Jalepeno peppers chopped real fine
about 10-15 crackers( not the Florida kind :cowboy: ) crumbled
1 egg
Mix ingredients then add egg and cracker crumbs (add enough crackers to soak up the egg )
make into 3 burger place on plate and cover with plastic wrap let sit in Fridge for 2hrs or more

take burgers and roll them in 1 cup of flour to coat the outside
place in large frying pan with enough hot bacon grease to barely cover the bottom of the pan just sear each side (make them crispy) then lower the heat and cover and cook for 5-7 minutes then un cover and turn heat up to high for about 1 minute on each side cover with cheese and Enjoy

Alan has it occurred to you, that perhaps we are a little more worldly and eclectic group as of late.. :P
We just like to try new recipes and ingredients . There are amazing foods out there you just need to have an open mind. ;-)

AC, hubby would love that recipe. He would probably top it with a few slices of pickled jalapenos as well... It might light his but on fire though... :lol2:

Sounds great, thanks for the recipe, I'll give it a try in a couple of days on the smoker... if the weather is kind to us.

Does it sound like I'm whining? Well maybe I'll be more open to trying different things after more wining. :cowboy: 8)

Alan, this might set your mind at ease. Tonight we are having grilled rib eye (home grown of course) rare/medium rare, grilled jumbo prawns ,fresh green beans ,sauteed spinach and battered mushrooms. AND for your whining/wining we will be accompanying this fine meal with one or two bottles of La Playa Cabernet sauvignon 2002..

Bonn Appetit... :D :tiphat:

HD don't go gettin' fancy on us now....drag out that half gallon of Mogan David Concord Grape. March, 2010...Hard to beat. :lol2:

HEY HD...How was the steaks and the Cabernet. Man did that sound good.

We had a very interesting dinner/evening with our Polish inlaws, all 30 of them. Lots of good food, lots of Drinking, lots of fun. I told my DIL I was pretty sure I was only good for every other year on her birthday parties. LOL.............God, those people can drink!

It was delicious ,too much though. There is nothing better than a perfectly grilled steak, hubby did them to perfection rare and no seasoning except a little fresh ground pepper right before he flipped them.
I made omelets for brunch today and they turned out better than last weeks, Mr HD says I need more practice though so I guess Sundays will be omelet day. I am getting all new cookware to go with the omelet pan that I bought. Cannot wait to get the set; I should be able to make anything.. ;-)

TB we are building a wine cellar in the cold room; I will have to make sure that wine is on my stocking list ..Sounds like a beauty.. :lol2:

3way, share the menu for the dinner with us. The only thing polish I can think of is sausage. :P

Alan, how was the meat loaf ? :)

It was a hybred dinner. Smoked ribs, platters of sausages, cheese, and bread from both Italy and Poland. Polish cucumber salad with sour cream. Penne Ragatti with pesto and strips of grilled chicken breast, and mashed potatoes.
