2024 5075e . My rake tractor.
Loss of power and stall. Low fuel pressure codes. Very typical fuel filter , fuel tank trash etc symptoms.
I've replaced the fuel filter and water separator and all gaskets. I've blown out lines. Including draining the tank and poking around. I didn't drop tank.
I've inspected but haven't replaced primer pump. I would if I could get one today.

I can bleed system and start tractor and watch the fuel primer button get sucked down tight. When it hits bottom the tractor stalls. I can then pull fuel line at filter and button will pop back up and I can hear what sounds like a vacuum. And there is no fuel present. But if I lower the hose below tank level I get good flow.
I've tried remove fuel cap fwiw.
Hay on ground, rain in forcast ....of course.

I looked at the online JD parts manual. There are multiple versions. The one I looked at is

https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/4219/referrer/navigation/pgId/746896
It is for 5075E Tractor (IT4)(9X3 TSS Transmission W/ Cab and OOS)(12X12 PR Transmission W/ Cab and OOS) (North America Edition)

It shows an inline fuel pump between the tank and the fuel/water separator. Maybe disconnect the fuel line at the water separator, turn on the switch and see if you have a good fuel flow. If not, then the line is plugged or the fuel pump is bad. If no fuel flow, disconnect the line on the inlet to the fuel pump. If no gravity flow there, then a plug in the fitting at the tank or that short hose. Looks like there is a strainer and a shutoff valve in the supply line just as it comes out of the tank. Items 28 and 29 on this diagram.

https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/sidebyside/equipment/4219/referrer/navigation/pgId/913847Just start disconnecting hose and see how far down the line you get fuel.

This is my first reply on this forum , but I’ve experienced this with my 5065e.
There is a small screen that sticks up in the bottom of the tank where the fuel line goes in that gets clogged.
You have to drain the tank to remove it but once you do, leave it out and put an inline fuel filter on the outside of the tank.
I replace it annually when I service my tractor and change other filters.
Hope this helps.

i had same sounding problems with my 5525. Slime/bacteria/whatever growth in my tank. couldn't see it, but same symtoms. i changed filters/blew lines/ etc for 2 years. started treating both my tractor and fuel storage tank with bio-kleen and killem biocide and standyne diesel injector cleaner after i had John Deere drop my tank and clean it. so far so good. if you try this use the "shock" treatment amount to start with.
i was told many things contribute: black plastic tanks on tractors, water in fuel, not keeping your tractor tank full so water sweats the sides and gets in fuel. i believe it has a lot to do with the 'low sulfur' diesel we use now.
i am 65 and never used an additive or had a problem my life till a couple years ago.
do you have a fuel pump on this tractor? i don't on mine, and with the bad design of tank it is a bitch to prime/drain service.

Ideas like this makes it worth being on Cattle Today.

Another great post.

The really good posts are the one that lets us in on what was wrong. I find it very frustrating when the solution is never revealed.

The tractor is parked under a pecan tree on berry creek in Georgetown texas. My wife is driving to marble falls today to pick up a fuel filter head i ordered and some fuel line.
This tractor has no lift pump. It had the in tank filter removed last year due to alge. I'm down to a issue with the diaphragm in the primer, or a fuel line collapsing. We worked until 2:00 am night before and 12:30 am last night a tractor short. I greatly appreciate all responses. My apologies for not reporting in. I'll try to do better.

Did you find a restriction point in the filter head? These things can be a nightmare to figure out with an obscure problem. Posting your results can be a lifesaver fore someone in the search for an answer . That is the one good thing about searching the internet. Loading the parts canon can be a very expensive solution.

Thanks for the update and I hope that is the fix for your problem.

No. I strongly suspect along with a phone call to a john deere tech i regularly tip really good the problem is in the diaphragm or the valve of the primer. In looking up parts we discovered a complete filter head, with filter, separator, primer etc can be had for 175.00 plus 25.00 next day shipping. To me that's a no brainer. Bolt it on and cover everything there. No messing with all the orings ,springs etc in the field.

I thought mine was in the fuel filter assembly as that was the only thing left when I had a similar problem. It wasn't. It had just enough fuzz in the elbow that came out of the assembly where the fuel line connected. It was enough to restrict flow when running the tractor with a load.

The fuzz was a small wad of what looked like a spider web material.

I just looked at the forum stats and found that we have 252 guests and 445 robots checking out the forum!😲 Maybe our sharing of tips and troubles help more than we would ever guess.

That fuel filter assy looks very similar to the one on my NH skid steer and one of the NH tractors. Both of them have an electric fuel pump mounted on top where the black primer plunger is mounted with the knurled black ring. Wondering if a fuel pump could be retrofitted to that assy?

I have my parts. We got the hay in a tractor short, some got rained on but with the help of the customer pulling the Tedder with his tractor the harvest went OK.
The rain has really turned on now with more coming. I'm thinking it's to wet to get in the field and work on that dang tractor but perfect to go fishing.
