Y'all are all a bunch of kids! LOL. My 50th was last month! 78 in our class, and 16 are dead. One girl died the day before. :( Got the old band back together for entertainment, and that was fun. I am the only dude in our class left with hair...as much as I had when I graduated. It is just white now! There was one girl there that literally hasn't changed a bit,, weighs the same thing she always did. Still with jet black hair, which she says she colors. Another gal has spent a fortune on plastic surgery. New nose, new chin, new cheekbones...blonde hair instead of the red she had in high school. She was always thin, no butt and flat chested. She still weighs the same but is now a DD and has a butt like Kardashian. No one hardly knew who she was til she talked. Last time I saw her was at the 20th, She had the boobs then, but not the face and butt, and still had red hair. Some of the 200+ lb women were talking about her when she couldn't hear.. jealousy I guess. The woman raised a son by herself, and has 2 grandsons...all 3 are red-headed as can be. She has done very well for herself in real estate, so my take is she worked hard for her money, no help from anyone else, everything she has she earned, so if he wants to spend it on re-modeling her self, then more power to her. A buddy that I hadn't seen in 50 years was there He joined the Navy, went to basic 4 days after we graduated. Retired in 20 years at age 38, chief warrant officer, . He was stationed at Dobbins Naval Air Station, and went right back to work there , doing his same job, a week later, only making a ton more money in this civil service job. Retired again at age 58. He had gotten married when he was inj the Navy, but she died about 20 years ago. They never had kids. He married again after he retired the 2nd time. They have a house here, one in Florida, and one in Montana or Wyoming..I forget which. Made me kinda wish I had gone that route, but I didn't, because I didn't want to cut my hair! LOL. Stupid! When my girlfriend all through college graduated, she went to work as a flight attendant at Delta. Back the, 1977, they were aggressively seeking male flight attendants. I got heavily recruited, but turned them down because I didn't want to cut my hair or take my ear ring out! She retired about 15 years ago. She married a male flight attendant, and they have a house in Atlanta, a condo in Hawaii, and one in Colorado. Another guy had went to the Air Force Academy, and retired a Colonel after flying fuel tankers for 20 years. Then he flew for Fed Ex til a few years ago.
My 10th, 20th and 30th, I ended up "catching up", with old girlfriends, and the 30th cost me a divorce. I didn't go to the 40th. This time, I am way past my fooling around years... and it was nice to catch up with old friends and class mates... talk about grandkids... and all of our ailments and medical procedures! LOL I had the most great-grandkids at three!
