Bet there wasn't a 100 head through the barn today.
Only two or three back to the farm buyers.
Prices were pretty good on some 3 n 1's today 2500 to 2900.
Just too wet for most people to get in and work cattle.

80 at our yard this week. Sky high to, or so my Dad said. Wish I had got tough, and took a load off.

I figured the weather would really mess up sales this week. Pretty wet out his way along with snow, sleet and a blowing wind...most probably stayed inside.

Athens only had a few head over 200 on Friday. There were 164 preconditioned calves at Van Zandt Livestock (Wills Point, TX) and 130 head in regular sale on Saturday. It is plenty wet here, even the sand hills are squishy wet.

the more rain we get the hotter buyer fever will get.every1 will be trying to buy every pair or bred cow thats worth anything to go back to the farm.
