Been doing a little research on this engine and it appears to be very impressive. Understand that it was designed from the floor up and not just a turbo-charged 3.5 liter engine. Any of you guys driving one and how does it compare to any other engines that you have driven or tested . Would you recommend it ?
Thanks

My son has driving one for a few months now and he loves it. Plenty of power and easier on fuel, so based on our conversations about it I'd say it's going to be a good solid truck.

My wife has a 2011 f150 with it but if im not mistaken I think hers is a 3.7L but it is great on gas just cruising or long trips but add a trailer with weight and it's just like my 5.4L V8 has good power though but I think my v8 has alot more.

My wife has one in a Crew cab 4x4 with 3.73 rear end and so far we love it. It gets 17-18 around town and 22-23 on a trip. The heaviest thing that I have towed with it is a 8,000 camper and it did great. The best way I know to describe the power is it is like a baby diesel. The torque comes on at low rpms.
