Lot or about all the technology we take for granted today came out of the space program. From captured German scientist (von Braun)we put to work at NASA.

That’s just another reason not to go back. Technology has been a major contributing factor to the downfall of this country. Plus, at my house, we pay our current bills before we incur more. But, NASA didn’t ask my opinion and I don’t foresee that changing.

Neil Armstrong 82 died 8/25/12 seven years ago from complications following bypass surgery.

It came to light 2 days ago the Cincinnati hospital paid his family 6 million dollars in 2014 as a
settlement in which they admitted no wrong doing and the family agreed not to publicly discuss it.

Leaked documents reveal the hospital's medical staff screwed up big time multiple times regarding
standard of care resulting in his death. A leading heart surgeon reviewing a 5,000 page report
doubted the bypass surgery was even necessary. Five days after surgery doctors decided he
needed a pacemaker surgically implanted, it had 2 temporary wires coming out of his chest.
Several hours later for no compelling reason a nurse decided to remove the wires while no surgeon
was available. He started bleeding (code red) and 20 minutes later taken to a lab to try to stop
the bleeding. Code red requires immediate surgery, but it took 1 hr and 27 minutes to get him
into an operating room, by which time his brain had been deprived of oxygen. He was pretty much
brain dead and then died 14 days afterwards and was later buried at sea with full military honors.

We will be taking a step back of 50 years going back to the same rock, a waste IMO. I say send humans to Mars and maybe they can improve on the tang from it....With the improvements of hubble and computers probably humans not needed as that is just a trip back.

The hospital just finished Neil off.....a lot of medicine/procedures the good is not better than the bad. IMO kinda crazy to take a med that is maybe proven 5% to help, but 25% proven it will put you on another pill and make that worse and when you stop taking it the damage is done. Medicines are way way way way way way way over prescribed. I can't figure out why you have to go through years of school to read a blood test that may not be real accurate and then look at a chart to prescribe a med for something that is not between the lines. We need more specialist as if more heart specialist were available Neil might still be around.

They should have scattered a pound of Bahia grass seed when there and now the moon would be solid grass. The only moonshot we need now is to get the national debt to a manageable level. I often wonder if the elected officials and government workers really know where their salaries come from. We need to let Bezos and Musk go to the moon they will do it for less money.

Sounds like 6 million was a bargain considering the amount of malpractice involved.
