2015 Calving

I have not been on here in awhile! But Here are some pictures from my spring calving season
Ctrl- may need to be used to view them completely. It was the only way to keep the quality a little better!

Daughter(right) came to see her new brother!

Two weeks later she had a heifer calf. Heifer was 50 lbs at birth, bull was 79.

Not bad for 2 weeks old!!!

This one was 100 lbs at birth (Different Sire) He will be nice, but it will be hard to find someone to buy him! He would just need some big framed mature cows. BW is too large for my taste.

He was hungry!

He is 3 weeks old. I think he may make a nice bull. Out of my speckled bull Rico.

My first speckled calf out of Rico!!!its a bull!

I bought this cow bred about 2 months ago. She had a heifer calf sired by a gyr bull. Calf was probably 40 lbs. And when standing next to her momma she looks like a dwarf!

I have been buying a few heifers the past year to breed to Rico this summer.

Nice calves. Wish Brahmans sold better here. Would love to have a field full of reds like that.

Beautiful Brahman girls! Sure wish that I could find a couple around here. Would love to have some. But what I do find are very pricey!
