2013 Bow Season

Has anyones bow season started yet? Ours starts Saturday but im not going hunting in 90 degree weather just isnt fun to me.

Now that's something we do agree on. I don't start until we have highs in the low 60's.Deer hunting when it's 75 degree's or hotter is not fun to me.

yea normally my bow hunting consists of being the week before november starts. I hate heat and the potential snake bites and mosquitos.

Ours started last Sat. Haven't really gone yet, just took my soon so be 5 year old out to sit for a while. We'll go again Sunday, hopefully we can get a doe. I don't really need the meat, but he'd love it.

Bow season has been open here for 3 weeks. I went once with my brother and watched him shoot two. Had a few friends come up from FL. and they all got at least one. Been easy here this year, persimmons trees are full and dropping. And I been planting 6 pea patches just for bow hunting for 20 years in the same spots.

That would be nice and good thing about the meat is someones always willing to eat it.

high the persimmons here are the same but I tell you what.. I have not seen an acorn this year yet.
